Active Release Techniques
ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused or injured muscles.
Cox traction Technique
A gentle, non-force adjusting procedure for low back and neck pain.
This technique has proven to be the most effective treatment for relieving symptoms associated with disc herniations, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis and sciatica. A great alternative to manual adjusting.
Corrective Exercises
We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%.
Massage Therapy
Massage does much more than create a pleasant sensation on the skin, it also works on the soft tissues (the muscles, tendons, and ligaments) to improve muscle tone. Massage also stimulates blood circulation and assists the lymphatic system (which runs parallel to the circulatory system), improving the elimination of waste throughout the body. It is effective in controlling chronic or acute pain, reducing stress and creating a sense of relaxation and well being.
Nutritional Counseling
We provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices to enhance our patients' return to optimal health.
Custom Foot Orthotics
An orthotic is a supportive device which is placed inside footwear to change the mechanical function of
activities like walking, running and standing. Faulty foot mechanics can lead to bunions, plantar fascitis, knee pain and low back pain. Regular use of orthotics can restore normal function and allows your body to realign and heal itself. |
