and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem. If the doctor cannot help you, you will be referred to a doctor that will be able to help you the most.
The Examination will include Nerve Testing, Orthopedic exams, Range of Motion exams, Gait Analysis, Muscular function assessment. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that a better understanding of how chiropractic can help you. If necessary, the doctor may refer you for X-rays or additional testing procedures.
Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, the doctor will review all of the findings and give you a written report and tell you recommendations for treatment if he can help you. This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following day. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:
- Reduces the length of your first visit
- Gives us time to correlate our findings
- Avoids overloading you with too much information
